The Philadelphia Eagles are set to host the New York Jets on Sunday as they look to improve their record to 3-2 on the year.

Last weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles had Sunday afternoon off as they got off to an early start for Week 4 on Thursday Night Football. As they arrived in Lambeau Field to play against the Green Bay Packers, not many thought the Eagles stood a chance.

Therefore, many mentally prepared for a 1-3 start, assuming their following matchup against the New York Jets would be the start of a comeback. That’s not the case, though. In dramatic fashion, the Eagles beat the Packers on the road despite being underdogs, moving to 2-2 on the year.

Now, the Eagles have the opportunity to clinch a winning record of 3-2 by defeating the Jets at home on Sunday afternoon. And if the Dallas Cowboys fail to do what the Eagles did last week by losing to the Packers, the Eagles could be tied up for first place in the NFC East by Sunday night.

First, they have to focus on winning their own game though. Many believe the Jets game should be an easy win, rightfully so. But the Eagles can’t fall into a trap game. Therefore, they should continue to ride that wave of motivation after beating the Packers last Thursday night and come out to dominate the Jets at home. Which five players will be key to clinching the victory?
