The Philadelphia Eagles were the only team in the NFC East to win in Week 5. How does that affect this week’s power rankings for the division?

Welcome to the fallout on Monday that follows a Sunday that featured 13 NFL games. Most of them were entertaining. There were some surprises, especially in the NFC East. If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan you had to enjoy a ten-sack performance from your defense, even if you’re a little concerned about the offense on Monday.

Then, there’s the New York Giants. They lost but had a respectable showing against the Minnesota Vikings. They lost but showed the makings of a team that’s learning how to win. The Washington Redskins even hung with the New England Patriots for a little while.

FOX’s NFL Game of the Week featured two teams that have gotten a lot of hype recently, the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. One, they’re two of the most popular teams in all of football. Second, they both have a legitimate shot at the postseason.

The Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins all lost, and Philly and Dallas are now both tied for the top spot in the NFC East. How does that affect this week’s power rankings? Fortunately, you don’t have to wait to find out.
