Ladies and gentlemen. The Washington Redskins are horrific. At this point, it’s hard to find where the building blocks lie. They’ve got a young star at quarterback in Dwayne Haskins, but it’s obvious that he needs to be developed.

Outside of Mark Davis, you can make a very successful argument that the worst owner in the NFL is Washington’s Daniel Snyder. There’s no direction on this team. Somehow, no one in the organization figured out that they shouldn’t let both Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay out of the door, and in the process, the franchise limped on under Jay Gruden.

For Gruden, his time in D.C. has run its’ course. The Skins will now hand the keys to interim head coach Bill Callahan, a move that hasn’t worked anywhere. Now, the direction of this season is clear. Look ahead to next season’s draft. The Redskins will again be picking at the top of the order.

Oh, and by the way Redskins fans, you’re not getting Lincoln Riley. Honestly, it’s hard to envision any decent coach is going to want the Redskins job.
