The Philadelphia Eagles found their way back into the NFL’s top ten teams in Week 5’s power rankings. Will their recent performance place them back in the top five?

The beauty of the NFL season is this. For the most part, the majority of the league has about five games registered, and with 12 weeks remaining in the regular season, it seems like, at times, we’re watching playoff games. Just look at the Philadelphia Eagles. They survived a must-win scenario versus the Green Bay Packers only to feel the pressure of being the favored team who was doing all that it could to avoid a struggling New York Jets squad.

The bad part about the NFL is this. The season flies by. It seems like it just started, and the midway point will be here before you know it. If you love Philly, you hope they get there with control of the NFC East, but you know the Dallas Cowboys have their eyes on a divisional title as well.

These two foes both sports a 3-2 but took different paths to get there. The Eagles are winners of two straight. The Cowboys have dropped their last two contests but has Philly’s sudden surge and the Cowboys’ recent slide changed anything on the weekly power rankings?

Fortunately, you won’t have to wait to find out. Click to continue.
