The Philadelphia Eagles are about to begin a difficult three-game road trip. These three games have the power to decide the rest of their season.

The Philadelphia Eagles did what they had to do this past Sunday when they took care of business versus the New York Jets at Lincoln Financial Field. They dismantled an inferior opponent, and they’re now one game above .500.

That ties them with the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East. That victory has been spun as a layup by the media, but that game could prove to be of immense importance depending on how the team performs in their upcoming road trip.

Over the next three weeks, the Eagles will trek from Minnesota, down to Dallas (or Arlington), and then end up in the not so friendly confines of Buffalo, New York. The three teams they’re set to face all currently possess winning records and are projected to be playoff teams.

For a team that seems to have found it’s defensive identity in recent weeks, this stretch will be a proving ground to show just how strong these Eagles are. Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming stretch.
