Philadelphia Eagles: 5 Players that are key to a victory over Vikings
4. Jordan Howard, RB
Can we get a repeat performance of Week 4, please? Against Green Bay on the road, Doug Pederson wanted Jordan Howard to be the focal point of the offense. Howard ended up accounting for three total scores, leading the team in rushing.
The Eagles shouldn’t confuse themselves this week. Just go out there and play smash-mouth football. When there’s more of a run-pass balance, it helps the quarterback out as well. So if Howard gets off to a decent start with his first couple of carries, there’s a good chance that Pederson continues to feed the power back.
Oh, and if there’s one player who knows how to run against the Vikings defense, it’s Jordan Howard. After spending three seasons with the Bears, Howard has had the opportunity to play against Minnesota six times. He has rushed for over 500 yards and collected three touchdowns during that time.
