Minnesota Vikings (4-2) versus Detroit Lions (2-2-1) (Upset Alert)

Venue and weather: Ford Field, Partly Sunny, 62°F at kickoff

Prediction: The Minnesota Vikings are favored in this one, and that looks like a bad call on the part of Las Vegas and anyone else who’s going with the Detroit Lions in this one.

Looking back, the Eagles loss to the Giants wasn’t as bad a loss as everyone believed it to be. The Lions can play, and after being robbed by the refs on Monday Night Football, they figure to be ticked off. Expect the Vikes to walk into a buzzsaw on Sunday. It isn’t like the Lions weren’t tough enough to play at home already. Score: Vikes 17, Lions 24

Los Angeles Chargers (2-4) versus Tennessee Titans (2-4)

Venue and weather: Nissan Stadium, Mostly Cloudy, 78°F at kickoff

Prediction: Unless you’re a fan of either one of these teams, it’s hard to get charged up for the Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans.

To be honest, the league needs to admit it made a mistake and move the Chargers back to San Diego. These days, everything looks like a road game for them, even the ones they play at Dignity Health Sports Park. In Week 7, they face the Titans in a game where Marcus Mariota’s been benched in favor of Ryan Tannehill.

That won’t help anything. The Chargers get back in the win column on Sunday. Score: Chargers 24, Titans 13
