3. Jalen Mills, CB

Remember Eagles’ cornerback, Jalen Mills? You know, the guy with the green hair, the finger wag, and the unbeaten energy? Yes, that guy who hasn’t been able to play football in over a year is finally back for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the timing couldn’t be better.

It’s not hard to tell that the Eagles have arguably the worst cornerbacks in the game. The guys they have been trotting out there just haven’t been able to get the job done. Thankfully, one of their starters from last year returns this week, and the Eagles feel better about the situation.

Honestly, we don’t, though. Let’s not sit here and pretend like Jalen Mills wasn’t burnt toast all last season as well. While Mills has proven more on the NFL level than Sidney Jones, or Craig James, let’s just remember the Eagles are getting Jalen Mills this week — not Jalen Ramsey.

Who knows what kind of shape Mills will be in. After all, he hasn’t practiced since his injury, up until this week. The move to start Mills immediately reaks of desperation by the Eagles, but it’s hard to really blame them. Mills will probably get picked on this week, and the hope is that he can just keep up, so we don’t have a repeat of last week with the other corners.
