Dallas Goedert, tight end, Round 2 (49th overall)

If we just look at the game film from 2018, Dallas Goedert is a B-plus tight end and a nice compliment to Zach Ertz, but he’s regressed in year two, thanks, in large part to a key dropped touchdown pass and a very costly fumble in two important games.

So far, Goedert’s been average. Grade: C +

Avonte Maddox, cornerback, Round 4 (125th overall)

Avonte Maddox is a stud. He can do everything well, but he can also be taken advantage of in pass coverage. Currently, he’s hurt, but he’s actually a building block for this defense’s future. Grade: B-

Josh Sweat, defensive end, Round 4 (130th overall)

Josh Sweat can’t play. At best he’s a journeyman backup at the defensive end position. He was taken in the fourth round for a reason. He doesn’t have the stuff to be a starter. Grade: D-
