Trade Agholor to the Bengals for A.J. Green or Dre Kirkpatrick

The Philadelphia Eagles could find a willing trade partner in the Cincinnati Bengals seeing as how Cincy always seems to be in the market for being taken advantage of by someone. Here’s scenario number one. The Eagles and the Bengals could swap receivers and maybe Halapoulivaati Vaitai for one of those Bengals corners or a draft choice.

Some are stating Cincy may be looking to stock their offensive line talent by shipping A.J. Green to the Washington Redskins in exchange for left tackle Trent Williams. Both Williams and Green are 31, so the move makes sense, but if the Bengals want to get younger, a swap with Philly for Agholor could see its deal sweetened by throwing in a younger Vaitai. He’s shown he can start in the NFL, and adding his name could be enough to push this one over the top.

The only question that remains is who else might Philly be interested in? Could they talk the Bengals out of William Jackson or one of those other young corners too?

Speaking of Bengals corners, Dre Kirkpatrick is another interesting one. The Eagles wouldn’t need to re-sign him immediately as he’s signed through 2021. He’s pricey and scheduled to make over $11 million in both of the next two seasons, but if Philly is willing to move on from some of their more expensive talents, Malcolm Jenkins for instance (it looks more and more like they won’t re-sign him), this deal could get done, especially if they do indeed part with Green. Don’t expect Cincy to part with him easily.

It may cost the Eagles a player and a pick, but this would be a move that would satisfy the Eagles contingent.
