Former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Orlando Scandrick still has a ton to say about his former team.

Was former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Orlando Scandrick getting a few unresolved issues off of his chest or was he just answering a few questions thrown his way during an interview? That’s been much of the conversation following a recent appearance he made on FS1’s Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.

Scandrick bashed Eagles vice president and general manager Howie Roseman and also said he felt as though he was the scapegoat for many of Philly’s issues.

Here are three immediate reactions to some of what he had to say.

1. Does Carson Wentz have any issues with his work ethic?

Scandrick’s spent time in both the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys’ locker rooms. According to him, Dak Prescott‘s greatest strength is getting to work before everybody else and staying later. Carson Wentz is more of the ‘guys dropped passes, let’s stay a little later after practice and catch a few more’ type of guy. Call it a crazy theory if you want, but if that’s the truth, that’s a trait that you want to see from your franchise quarterback.

2. Did you hear what he said about Howie Roseman?

Here’s a direct quote from Scandrick about Howie Roseman.

"I don’t believe anything Howie says. Howie is one of the people if he told me it was raining outside, I’d probably get some shorts just incase. He put it to me as he wanted to play some younger players, and they are a mess on defense, so they need to get some defensive linemen."

Here’s a fact regardless of what type of business you’re in. Dealing with people is always going to create circumstances where, sometimes, you have some who are unhappy. Fortunately, no one’s heard this type of talk surrounding Roseman. Hopefully, this is one guy’s opinion and an isolated incident.

3. Is Philly truly having a hard time dealing with success?

Here’s a narrative that everyone’s heard over and over again since Super Bowl LII. Philly no longer has the heart of a champion, and they’re satisfied. After watching them fight down the stretch in 2018 and come within a few plays of advancing to a second-consecutive NFC Championship Game appearance, it’s hard to believe that to be the case.

Still, we have to recognize that complacency can sometimes set in with the most focused individual. The Eagles have been called out, and they’ve been embarrassed in back-to-back weeks. How they respond will tell us a lot about them going forward.
