2. Jalen Mills, CB

Well, if there was one player who actually put on a reliable performance last week, it was this guy, Jalen Mills. After dealing with a foot injury, Mills failed to see the field for over a year. Finally, the “Green Goblin” made his way back out onto the gridiron, and he didn’t do so bad.

Granted, the bar of expectations for cornerbacks has been very low, but Mills surely exceeded that with his performance on Sunday. He wrapped up his Sunday night with eight tackles, a pass deflection, and an interception on a deep ball in the end zone.

The Eagles needed a resurgence at cornerback, and Mills managed to flash some potential. We’ve seen this guy play very inconsistent though at times throughout the last few years. Last week we saw a good side of Jalen Mills. Hopefully, we don’t see a bad side against Buffalo. For once, it would be nice to see the Eagles secondary not be the focal point of mistakes.
