Halloween nears. Here are a few things that might frighten Philadelphia Eagles fans as the second half of the season is on the horizon.

The 2019 calendar year just continues to fly by. Believe it or not, the NFL season is halfway done, and after these next eight games, 20 of the league’s fan bases won’t have anything to talk about except for college prospects, potential coaching candidates (if they’re in the market for one), and next April’s draft. If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, you hope you’re not included in that number.

A Week 8 victory versus the Buffalo Bills helped the cause, but Philly’s schedule won’t get any easier. Eight games remain in 2019’s regular season. The trade deadline is 4 p.m. EST on October 29th. Halloween is two days later. Here are a few storylines that could double as some very spooky stories to tell around the campfire.

Pass out some candy. Cue the scary music and the sinister laugh sound effects. This won’t be for the faint of heart.
