Week 9: vs. Chicago Bears

After a long and dreadful three-game road trip, the Eagles are finally able to return to the Linc this week. Unfortunately, the Eagles ended up going 1-2 during their tough stint, with both losses being borderline blowouts. It was promising to see them bounce back against Buffalo, but the Eagles need to start winning consecutively.

When the schedule first came out, it seemed like Week 9 against Chicago would be one of the tougher matchups on paper. However, the Bears are nowhere near as good as they were last season. Considering the Eagles already found a way to beat them over the previous two seasons, and will have home-field advantage this week, I like their odds.

Chicago’s quarterback is struggling mightily and the Eagles’ defense is beginning to click. It feels like it could be a nightmare scenario for the Bears on the road in Philly. The Eagles want to head into the bye with a victory and a two-game win streak. They aren’t falling for this one.

Results: Eagles win, 5-4 record
