Week 17: at New York Giants

The Eagles would be heading into MetLife Stadium with an impressive 10-5 record at this point. Not bad considering that we are currently staring at a 4-4 squad. The Eagles are a second-half team week after week when it comes to the game. And they are a second-half team when it comes to their overall schedule.

Before, we assumed that Week 17 could potentially become a time where the starters practically get the week off to avoid any injuries before playoffs. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case this year. The Eagles would need to avoid falling to 10-6, so they need to beat the Giants.

Thankfully, that shouldn’t be much of an issue. The Giants will be better because of no Eli Manning, and they will have guys like Saquon Barkley back. But again, the Eagles are just merely a better squad and New York won’t be able to beat them when the Eagles are playing their best ball. The Eagles somehow squeak out of the year with an 11-5 record, heating up before playoffs.

Record: Eagles win, 11-5 record
