Here are a few predictions as we inch closer to the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears’ Week 9 date at Lincoln Financial Field on November 3rd.

Following a Week 8 dismantling of the Buffalo Bills in unfamiliar surroundings, New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York, the Philadelphia Eagles will look to extend their winning streak to two games in the friendly confines of Lincoln Financial Field. Week 9 features a home date versus the Chicago Bears. How about we all put our prognosticator hats and come up with a few way-too-early predictions?

Here’s what we know as far as the odds are concerned. According to The Action Network, as of 4 p.m. EST on Halloween, ‘The Birds’ are 4.5-point favorites per Westgate and Caesars and five-point favorites per Bet365 and WillHill.

Here’s how both teams’ injury reports looked as of Thursday.

Philly’s Thursday afternoon injury report looks like this.

Chicago’s most recent injury report was a lot lighter than Philly’s. Take a look.

Prediction: Based on everything we know (and the fact that this is a quarterback duel between Carson Wentz and Mitchell Trubisky), the ITI staff predicts a low-scoring affair but one that ‘The Birds’ win. Expect a game similar to the one you saw in Orchard Park. Philly will get off to a slow start (again). Things will be tight at halftime, but the Eagles will make the appropriate adjustments and pull away late. Final score: Eagles 24, Bears 13
