JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR

Round 2, Pick 57

The Stanford wide receiver could very well be the most infamous rookie on the team right now. As a second-round selection, JJ Arcega-Whiteside was expected to come in and contribute right off the bat if his services were needed due to injury.

By Week 2, the Eagles’ top two wideouts were injured. Sure enough, Arcega-Whiteside got the call and had to go in. Unfortunately, the second-rounder did not do a serviceable job. Not only did he drop a game-winning pass during his second game on the field, but he hardly even produced.

At this point, the Eagles won’t even put Arcega-Whiteside on the field. The rookie cannot seem to beat out Mack Hollins, who didn’t even catch a ball in the entire month of October. That says a lot about Arcega-Whiteside. Is he a bust? It’s too early to tell. I will say this though, his inability to remain on the field when called upon is undoubtedly a bad look.
