Wait, is DeSean Jackson actually playing this week? It seems as though he’s on track to get back on the field this week for the Eagles, per Jackson himself. Ever since exiting the game early on during Week 2, Jackson hasn’t seen the field for the Eagles as he’s dealt with an abdomen tear.

This week, Jackson got back on the practice field and is feeling good enough to trot out on the field this Sunday against Chicago. Will Jackson be one-hundred percent? It’s doubtful. However, 80-percent of DeSean Jackson has to be better than what we’re currently getting out of Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside, right?

Let’s be clear here — Jackson isn’t expected to get out there and catch over 150 yards in passing with multiple scores once again. If he does, that’s just a bonus. The Eagles will benefit from Jackson’s on-field presence alone. He’s a deep threat to the defense, and that opens the field up for the other weapons on board. As long as Jackson’s lined up out there, defenses are thrown off.
