4. Mack Hollins

He’s already been mentioned, but the apathy of Mack Hollins can be discussed all day. In Week 8, Hollins was on the field for 43 offensive snaps, and he wasn’t targeted one time. On special teams, the reason that he’s supposed to still have a roster spot, he saw six special teams snaps.

That’s good for 23 percent of the total special teams snaps the Eagles saw versus the Buffalo Bills.

For the season, Hollins has hauled in ten receptions on 21 targets for 125 yards. That includes nine total games with three starts (yes, things are so bad that Hollins is starting).

Let’s make a long story short. For a man who’s been on the team for three seasons and appeared in 25 games, 26 career receptions aren’t going to cut it. 15 total first downs from the wide receiver position aren’t going to cut it. One career touchdown and 351 career receiving yards aren’t going to cut it. Hollins is somewhere between a waste of a roster spot and being the guy who is taking up the roster spot that Greg Ward earned and should still be occupying.

Do you believe that Ward is worse than Arcega-Whiteside or Hollins? Ladies and gentlemen, it’s official. The Eagles are officially wasting Carson Wentz‘s prime years, and that needs to change quickly.
