Well, they were good ideas at the time. Here’s one though on ten moves Howie Roseman made for the Philadelphia Eagles prior to 2019’s regular season.

Anyone who is still confused about the fickle nature of NFL fans need not look any further than the mistreatment Philadelphia Eagles vice president and general manager Howie Roseman. There’s no way to get you the exact numbers. The Eagles have too many fans, but from the outside looking in, it appears that half the fan base views him as doing a good job. The other half seems to be ready to hang him an effigy.

Yes, it was many of Roseman’s decisions that led to the Eagles’ first Super Bowl win Yes, the confetti has long been swept up from the sidewalk, but Philly’s fortunate to have the Pro Football Writers Association Executive of the Year for 2017 in the fold and calling the shots. One thing should still be obvious to everyone.

This guy’s only intent is to help this Eagles team win. Every single one of his moves, especially the ones he made in 2019’s offseason, were good ideas at the time. Unfortunately, the majority of them just haven’t worked out for one reason or another, and for that reason alone, ‘good old Howie’ gets a failing grade. Let’s look at ten of his more high profile moves.
