2. Philly gives up one rushing touchdown for the remainder of the season.

Don’t expect Philly’s run defense to get statistically worse down the stretch. Now, some of that will be aided by games versus the likes of the Miami Dolphins, but here’s as bold as we can be about the Eagles rush defense.

The only rushing touchdown they’ll have scored against them will be by Ezekiel Elliott. Unfortunately, they will give up the usual touchdowns through the air. The Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will light them up as you can also expect a few air raids by the likes of Tom Brady and Russell Wilson.

The name Saquon Barkley comes to mind. Though he’s a threat to score from anywhere on the field, his most likely way of being a threat to Philly will come as a result of the New York Giants trying to find ways to get him the ball in space. You can figure to see a few screenplays called, but the Eagles will employ the game plan of limiting Barkley and daring Daniel Jones to beat them. That will serve them well as the rookie will be unable to do so.
