The underdog Philadelphia Eagles face their most difficult test of the season this Sunday, but this is a game that’s winnable if they stick to the script.

This Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will be tested a difficult game (the first of a two-game stretch) against the New England Patriots. The Seattle Seahawks are the opponent a week later. The Patriots, like the Eagles, will also be coming off of a bye week that follows an embarrassing 37-20 road loss against the Baltimore Ravens that left a sour taste in their mouths. Could an upset loss at the hands of the Eagles follow?

Bill Belichick is going to come out with some firepower after having two weeks to chew on that ‘L’. Belichick is all business and is not one to sugarcoat losses. He will try to impose his will early and often on Sunday.

Doug Pederson often has some tricks up his sleeve for big games like this one. He’s, no doubt,  changed up the game plan and fixed a few the evident issues after the bye week in years past. Two weeks is more than enough time for Pederson to prepare. The Eagles do tend to get rusty after having extended periods off, but with plenty at stake the rest of the season you can count on his guys to be ready for battle at 4:25 p.m. EST.

Upsetting the reigning Super Bowl Champs, and the current top seed in the AFC isn’t impossible. Before playing the Ravens, the combined record of the Patriots opponents was 22-44 and the only team they beat with a winning record was the Buffalo Bills who were without starting quarterback Josh Allen for the majority of the second half. The Patriots only won that game by a slim margin of 16-10.

Belichick is going to show Carson Wentz various looks on defense and attempt to confuse the Eagles defense. Coming out on top will not be an easy task, but although Belichick is unpredictable, his teams are not unstoppable. Here’s what must happen in Sunday’s game for an Eagles upset.
