It’s time to look at where the best teams rank in Week 12’s NFL Power Rankings. It’s probably safe to assume that the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t in the top ten.

Ten games, a 5-5 win-loss total. It wasn’t supposed to be this way for the Philadelphia Eagles. They were never supposed to lose to the Detroit Lions. They were never supposed to lose to the Atlanta Falcons. They were supposed to go down to Arlington and make an example of the hated Dallas Cowboys on the national stage. They should have been a conversation piece in everyone’s NFL Power rankings all season.

Instead, Dallas embarrassed them. They lost to Atlanta and Detroit, and it feels like things will get worse before they get better as in Week 12, they host a very strong Seattle Seahawks team. The line in that one opened with ‘The Birds’ being the favorites.

If Philly can weather that storm, the fans will calm down. If they can weather that storm, the criticism will lessen. If they win that one, and even if they don’t, the schedule gets easier down the stretch. The Eagles aren’t a top-ten NFL team at the moment, but there’s room for improvement.

Here are Week 12’s rankings.
