Let’s make long stories short.

More from Inside the Iggles

Let’s make long stories short. Wentz can be a great quarterback in the NFL for a long time.

Environment matters. Who his teammates are matters. Coaching matters. If Wentz went to the Buccaneers, with Bruce Arians as a tutor and Mike Evans and O.J. Howard as his weapons, the Bucs would be a factor overnight. You know it. We know it.

Could he play better? Yes, he could, but he’ll get through this.

You have to appreciate what you have Eagles fans. There’s a great quarterback with potential here. They don’t grow on trees. Just ask the Denver Broncos. They still haven’t replaced John Elway, minus a brief stint they had with Peyton Manning, and what’s funny is they have John Elway looking for the guy that can do the job.
