6. Jason Peters

Does anyone else remember when Jake Elliott missed that field goal, and Jason Peters had that conversation with him? Jake didn’t miss anything for a while after that. Thinking about those types of things gives Eagles fans a warm and fuzzy feeling about Jason Peters. So does all of those pictures of Peters and Andre Dillard working together.

He’s always been one of those voices of leadership. More of that is needed now. It wouldn’t hurt if his body would allow him a five-game adrenaline rush either.

7. Lane Johnson

Lane Johnson has gotten his money, and he deserves every dime of it. Now, fresh out of the NFL’s concussion protocol, everyone will be looking to see the same old dominant Lane Johnson. He’s been missed. This offensive line is in a state of flux when he isn’t present.

8. Alshon Jeffery

Alshon Jeffery has been called a snitch. He’s been called a liar when he denied it. What used to be the unconditional love Eagles fans had for ’17’ has been replaced with disdain and irritation by some of the fans. That resulted in some theory that his absence on gamedays recently was more about hurt feelings than his ankles

Ladies and gentlemen, this is childish. It’s time to bury the hatchet. There’s football to play, and Jeffery must step up, especially since we all know that Nelson Agholor is incapable of doing so.
