The Philadelphia Eagles need to figure out a way to improve at wide receiver heading into the 2020 season.

To say the wide receiver position has been a major issue for the Philadelphia Eagles throughout the 2019 season would be a huge understatement after seeing how things have played out over the last few months.

Whether it was DeSean Jackson‘s injury turning out to be more serious than originally expected or simply learning the hard way the Mack Hollins experiment was a complete bust, words cannot even describe how frustrating it’s been to watch the Eagles struggle at wide receiver in 2019.

Even if Philadelphia finds a way to squeeze into the playoffs, there will still be concerns over how deep of a run the team can make since the offense has proven to be far from reliable this year, especially at the wide receiver position.

The good news for the Eagles is just like the other 31 teams in the NFL, the offseason will provide plenty of opportunities to make the necessary adjustments in the passing game to help the unit get on a better track during the 2020 campaign.

Since the Eagles are technically still in the hunt for a playoff spot if they can find a way to overtake the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East title, some will make the case that it’s way too early to be looking ahead at the offseason.

But since the recent release of Hollins has Philadelphia fans talking about the wide receiver position even more than usual, it seems fair to give an early look at a few ways the Eagles can improve at the position for 2020.
