Here are five questions surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles heading into their Week 14 meeting with the New York Giants.

Watching the Philadelphia Eagles come up short the way they did to the Miami Dolphins has left fans feeling plenty of frustration heading into the team’s Week 14 meeting with the New York Giants, but at least playoff hopes are still alive.

As crazy as it is to believe, the Eagles only trail the Dallas Cowboys by a single game for first place in the NFC East, and even though Philadelphia currently has the disadvantage due to the head-to-head tiebreaker, these teams will square off against one another in Week 16.

But since that game is still two weeks away, the main focus for the Eagles right now is on Monday’s meeting with the Giants since they can’t afford to lose another favorable matchup like the Dolphins.

Otherwise, Philadelphia may as well kiss those playoff hopes goodbye since a loss against a two-win team in New York would make it seem like the Eagles will have zero chance at defeating the Cowboys in Week 16.

Since the Giants have absolutely nothing to lose this late in the season other than playing the spoiler role for teams looking to earn a trip to the playoffs, the Eagles will need to be extra cautious in this one to avoid finishing on the wrong end of a major upset.
