Could the Philadelphia Eagles make a move for a trade involving Odell Beckham Jr. or another wide receiver during the 2020 offseason?

Once the 2020 offseason officially arrives for the Philadelphia Eagles, there’s no question the team needs to upgrade at wide receiver when looking at some of the struggles with the position over the last few months.

And even though Odell Beckham Jr. continues to deny previous reports about wanting a trade from the Cleveland Browns, this isn’t going to stop Eagles fans from wondering about the possibility of the star wideout coming on board.

Cards on the table, the chances of Beckham coming to the City of Brotherly Love seems like a long shot at the moment, not just because of how much it would cost, but also due to the fact that he hasn’t even played a full season with the Browns.

Then again, since the argument also can be made that Beckham’s first year in Cleveland has been far from what the wideout expected, and a fresh start could be beneficial for both parties, maybe there would be hope for Philadelphia.

Between DeSean Jackson‘s injury from September turning out to be more serious than originally expected to players like Nelson Agholor failing to step up when needed the most, wide receiver has easily been one of the most frustrating positions for the Eagles in 2019.

Even if Philadelphia fails to land Beckham, the good news for the Eagles is if they were hoping to bring on help at receiver through a trade, there are plenty of other candidates worth considering, that is if certain teams are willing to work with the Eagles.

Since the trade talks surrounding Beckham aren’t going to disappear anytime soon, it’s time to have a little fun by looking at potential targets for the Eagles in 2020.
