With Alshon Jeffery leaving Monday’s game with a foot injury, here are five wide receivers the Philadelphia Eagles should consider signing to finish out 2019.

For a team that was already struggling at the wide receiver position, it was absolutely devastating to watch the Philadelphia Eagles lose Alshon Jeffery to an injury during Monday’s overtime win over the New York Giants.

Nothing has been revealed as of yet when it comes to the seriousness of the injury, but based off the play alone, it’s not looking good for Jeffery and the Eagles.

When healthy, Jeffery has proven to be one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL, and if Philadelphia is forced to adjust for the remainder of the regular season without him, the offense could be in trouble.

The Eagles have already been at a major disadvantage for most of 2019 playing without DeSean Jackson, and the potential loss of Jeffrey could make Philadelphia’s path to winning the NFC East title over the Dallas Cowboys even more difficult to accomplish.

To top it off, if the Eagles are forced to explore potential free agents to bring on board, there aren’t as many great option as a few months ago, although there is some hope with a few intriguing options.

As much as Philadelphia fans don’t want to think about Jeffery’s injury, if it does turn out to be serious, here are five notable wide receivers the Eagles should consider signing for the final stretch to keep their playoff hopes alive.

None of these players will be anywhere near the same level impact wise as Jeffery, but at least it would be better than nothing at this point in December, right?
