We beat them up when they stink. We have to give credit when it’s due. Here are five Philadelphia Eagles who deserve game balls after a clutch Week 14 win.

It wasn’t a certainty. It wasn’t fun to watch at times. If you love the Philadelphia Eagles and you had one eye on the game and one eye on Twitter, you saw profanity, ‘Fire Doug Pederson‘ tweets, and GIFs of guys destroying their television or their cell phones.

No, it wasn’t fun, but it was great, and do you want to know why? Sometimes, it’s about the story. If there’s no 14-point hole, there’s no comeback. if there’s no missed tackle or blown coverage, there’s no anger. If there’s no adversity, there’s nothing to overcome.

Sports is like a good nonfiction novel, full of twists and turns, and in Week 14 on Monday Night Football, the Eagles tested every human emotion as they fell in a 14-point hole to the New York Giants to close the first half before putting up 20 unanswered points to pull this one out of the fire.

It wasn’t good enough to crack ITI’s list of the best Eagles wins over the Giants, but it was fun. et’s give out some game balls.
