Boston Scott, running back

Now, that’s what we’re talking about Boston Scott! Prior to Week 14’s game, ITI dropped its story on role players who have to play like starters. Scott was among the guys we named for the reasons that you saw.

Miles Sanders isn’t a sledgehammer. Jay Ajayi has nothing left, and you already know about the issue with missing or underachieving skill players. Somebody had to step up. It had to be Scott, and on Monday night, he answered the call, to the tune of a 28-yard kick return, ten carries for 59 yards (yes, a 5.9 yards-per-carry average), and a rushing touchdown that helped spark the comeback.

No, he may never be the next Darren Sproles, but if he listens to Duce Staley, and the Eagles use him correctly, he could be very helpful down the stretch.
