Carson Wentz, quarterback

Yes! Now, that’s what we’ve been waiting to see! We’ve asked about Carson Wentz‘s durability, and in Week 14, QB1 took a licking and kept on ticking. Wentz was sacked three times, and that doesn’t even describe how easily the Giants got to him.

We’ve said that the franchise quarterback has to elevate the guys who are on the field with them, regardless of who they are. Wentz lost two of the three available receivers that he had, and he willed his team to victory in spite of the fact that a few of the best weapons on the field that he had at his disposal may never be stars in this league.

We’ve all asked if Wentz could bring his team back and be great when it mattered. We’ve all asked when Wentz would place the team on his back and lead them to victory. Now, we have evidence that he still can do it. Now, we all have seen the Eagles have something to build on.
