2. Kevin Stefanski, currently the offensive coordinator of the Vikings

It’s been public knowledge that the New York Giants have had an interest in Kevin Stefanski, currently the offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings, for a while. Their previous attempt to gain an interview was blocked the last time the Giants began a coaching search.

Here’s the arrangement in Minnesota. Mike Zimmer is the head coach and basically pays attention to defensive affairs. Stefanski is the head coach on offense, and he’s done a great job in that role.

Sure, the Vikings have weapons everywhere, but so does a lot of other teams that have done a lot less with what they have. When the hammer drops and teams begin interviews, Stefanski figures to have a lot of suitors.
