As Philadelphia Eagles fans, it’s getting harder and harder not to take an interest in what the Washington Redskins might do about their head coaching vacancy.

If you haven’t learned anything else about the NFL this season, especially as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, it’s been this. The fastest route to success (and a possible playoff berth) is by dominating your division. Now, you’d rather do that by winning and not by barely surviving from week to week, but that’s how things are done.

That’s what made Andy Reid successful for all of those years. He took care of business against the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants, and this season’s representative in the postseason from the NFC East will be whoever can take the divisional crown, or at least survive.

Here’s what’s interesting. All three of Philly’s rivals will probably be in the market for a new head coach once this offseason rolls around.

In doing a little digging (and sticking our nose where it doesn’t belong), we’ve come up with the most likely candidates to take over in Dallas and in New York. Now, here are five possible candidates for the Redskins head coaching vacancy. Come on. You didn’t think they were going to promote Bill Callahan, did you?
