1. Josh Adams, running back, currently with the Jets

Last season, the Eagles found Josh Adams in a pool of undrafted free agents. How did that work out? He led the ‘Birds’ in rushing, picking up a much-needed 511 yards and three touchdowns over the course of 14 games.

That includes five starts.

The Eagles released him prior to the current regular season in favor of Jordan Howard, Darren Sproles, Corey Clement, and Miles Sanders. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but it’s hard not to think about how the pairing of Adams and Howard as dual sledgehammers (it may have even kept Howard healthy).

It’s also hard to understand why Philly thought bringing back Sproles was a great idea. He was clearly past his prime, and now, both he and Clement are on the team’s IR (injured reserve).

Yeah, Adams fumbles too much, but that’s why teams have coaches. If the New York Giants could fix Tiki Barber‘s fumbling issues, then Duce Staley can surely fix the ones Adams had. Philly really could really use 500 additional rushing yards from scrimmage right now.
