Philadelphia Eagles: 5 players to fear most on Redskins during Week 15
By Dan Parzych
4. Dwayne Haskins
Assuming Dwayne Haskins is able to play after dealing with an ankle injury all week, the Eagles will most likely apply constant pressure throughout the contest to prevent the rookie from having a big game on offense for the Redskins.
However, Haskins seems like he’s due for a major breakout game at some point before his rookie campaign comes to an end, and when looking at the situation on defense for Philadelphia, this could very well take place in Week 15.
As great as the Eagles’ defense has looked at times over the last month or so, it’s no secret their cornerback situation is one of the most frustrating in the NFL.
One week, the group will look like a top unit, and cause all sorts of problems for opponents, only to struggle the next.
The team’s trip to Florida a few weeks ago in which they were embarrassed by the Miami Dolphins is the perfect example of how no one ever really knows what to expect from the Eagles at cornerback each week.
Even if Haskins has only thrown for more than 200 yards just once in his five starts, if he finds a way to take advantage of the situation, Philadelphia could be in trouble.
