Philadelphia Eagles: 5 players to fear most on Redskins during Week 15
By Dan Parzych
1. Terry McLaurin
Washington clearly felt confident enough in Terry McLaurin becoming a reliable receiver one day in the passing game after using a third-round pick on the wideout in April, but the argument can be made that no one expected the rookie to make this quick of an impact.
Right away, McLaurin made his presence felt during his NFL debut back in Week 1 against the Eagles after he caught five passes for 125 yards to go along with a touchdown.
What was even more impressive is McLaurin found a way to record a touchdown catch in each of his first three games, making it clear that Washington made the right decision during the draft.
If McLaurin’s rookie campaign is any indication, the young wideout is going to have a bright future with the Redskins, and could be in great position to earn another big game similar to Week 1 if he plays his cards right.
Since Philadelphia’s cornerback situation isn’t exactly the most reliable thing in the world, McLaurin could be looking for a similar outing to Week 1 when he first faced the Eagles, if not better.
McLaurin has certainly cooled off since the beginning of the year, but with three games remaining, the rookie is in the perfect position to end his first NFL season on a high note, beginning on Sunday against the Eagles.
