10. October 9th, 1994: Randall Cunningham’s 284 total yards guide Philly to a win on Thursday Night Football (TNT’s version).

There wasn’t a ton to remember about the Philadelphia Eagles 1994 season. The Eagles went 7-9, good for a fourth-place finish, and they failed to make the playoffs (thanks a lot Rich Kotite). Still, when two of those wins were against the Redskins, there are a few bragging rights a team can take into the Spring.

Yep, for those of you that remember, this was that Eagles team that started with a 7-2 record and then lost seven straight to close things out. The ITI staff refuses to allow this to be remembered as one of the biggest collapses in NFL history. Instead, let’s remember this one for being the season that housed that Thursday night game on TNT.

Despite throwing two interceptions, Randall Cunningham threw for 261 yards and a touchdown and added that 20-yard burst and leap into the end zone to help guide Philly to a 21-17 home win at Veterans Stadium.
