Philadelphia Eagles: 5 most frustrating injuries from 2019 season
By Dan Parzych
The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the biggest victims of the injury bug throughout the 2019 season.
On Wednesday, the announcement of Kamu Grugier-Hill heading to IR as a result of a back injury just added to the long list of injuries the Philadelphia Eagles have been forced to deal with throughout the 2019 season.
In fact, the argument can be made that no team has been a bigger victim of the injury bug in 2019 than the Eagles, and yet here they are still alive in the hunt for the NFC East title with the Dallas Cowboys.
One can only imagine how much better shape Philadelphia would be in if they weren’t dealing with so many injuries on both sides of the football, but unfortunately the only approach the Eagles can take is making sure the right adjustments are made.
If the Eagles somehow end up squeezing into the playoffs as NFC East champions, it will be viewed as an amazing accomplishment since overcoming injuries to key players is never easy for any team.
But if Philadelphia were to end up coming short in the race for the division title against Dallas, the constant injuries will easily be the main reason behind the blame.
Eagles fans may not want to discuss all of the injuries that have taken place in Philadelphia this season due to wondering what could have been, but also it only seems fair in light of this Grugier-Hill news to look at the ones that hurt the most.
Starting off with an honorable mention, here’s a look at the five most frustrating injuries from the 2019 season for the Eagles.
