2. Jason Peters

When Jason Peters isn’t the cause of frustrating penalties, the offensive tackle is one of the best in the game, and has been a key member to providing the necessary protection to Eagles quarterbacks over the years.

After things failed to work out with the Buffalo Bills, it almost seemed too good to be true for Philadelphia to acquire the Pro Bowl tackle in a trade, and well worth giving up a future first-round pick to land.

There have been times throughout his career in which it was disappointing to watch Peters deal with serious injuries since his presence always made a huge difference to the offensive line, but when healthy, he’s always been considered one of the best.

Since Peters has already contemplated retirement a few times over the last couple of years, it’s tough to imagine the veteran playing much longer beyond the 2019 season since 16 years is a long time.

Sooner rather than later, Philadelphia realizes that Peters is going to be out of the picture, and while there will be numerous players to choose from as far as his future replacement is concerned, this seems like one of those irreplaceable situations.

As previously mentioned, Peters can be frustrating at times, but he is one of the best at what he does for a reason.
