Fantasy football owners with Zach Ertz or Miles Sanders on their roster are benefitting from the impressive play as of late for the Philadelphia Eagles stars.

Before the Philadelphia Eagles started their 2019 season, it was a no-brainer for Fantasy football owners to draft Zach Ertz and seemed like a safe bet to either select Miles Sanders or pick him up in free agency.

As the season progressed, playing the two became risky, especially if your team needed big performances to push them over the top. While Ertz was still finding a way to average about 10 points a game, Sanders found himself averaging just under that mark.

It wasn’t until the halfway point of the regular season in which the two finally displayed the breakout performances Fantasy football owners were patiently waiting for.

Ertz’s breakout performance came in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears in which he caught nine passes for 103 yards, and a touchdown, helping him record a little over 20 points in most leagues.

As for Sanders, the rookie’s breakout performance came a week prior to Ertz’s big game against the Buffalo Bills. Sanders finished that game with 74 yards on the ground, on only three attempts to go along with 44 receiving yards on three catches.

If this doesn’t seem impressive enough, Sanders also finished with a rushing touchdown as well to help the Eagles defeat the Bills.

Since then, Ertz’s Fantasy numbers have skyrocketed to help keep Philadelphia’s playoff chances alive, especially in the last two weeks.

Over the previous two contests, Ertz has accumulated a total of 152 receiving yards to go along with three touchdowns. Based off these numbers and the opponents, it’s safe to say Ertz loves facing his rivals within the NFC East.

And you know what, so does Sanders after seeing what he was able to accomplish lsat weekend against the Washington Redskins. Sanders finished the day with 122 rushing yards to go along with 50 receiving yards, and two total touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving).

Luckily for the Eagles, these two are hot right now, and we don’t see their success stopping anytime soon. In fact, their targets have been increasing, and in Sanders’ case, his carries have increased as well.

It took a while for the Eagles to utilize their run game and have a balanced offense, but it looks like the time has finally come for Sanders to live up to the hype from the spring when he was selected in the second round by Philadelphia.

For Ertz, the lack of healthy receivers likely means the three-time Pro Bowler will have an increased workload once again on Sunday.

From a Fantasy football perspective, it seemed like a no-brainer for owners to draft these two early on in draft, and it also seems like an easy decision to play these two against the Dallas Cowboys with the chance to keep their NFC East hopes alive.
