The Philadelphia Eagles would benefit in a big way from adding CeeDee Lamb during the 2020 NFL Draft, even if they needed to trade up.

Even though the chances of the Philadelphia Eagles landing Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in the 2020 NFL Draft seem like an absolute long shot at the moment, anything seems possible with Howie Roseman calling the shots.

This year’s draft is still a few months away, but when seeing how quickly the 2019 regular season flew by, the big event will be here before Eagles fans know it.

Looking at the results of this season, it’s safe to assume that wide receiver will be a top priority for Philadelphia once the offseason officially gets underway, and while the Eagles will certainly have plenty of talented candidates to choose from, Lamb would obviously be a dream scenario.

Rightfully so, Lamb will be considered one of the top prospects at his position by the time April rolls around, and give Philadelphia’s current situation record wise, chances are the Sooners star will be well off the board by the time they are officially on the clock.

In other words, any chance of the Eagles landing Lamb in the draft would most likely have to come as a result of a trade.

Of course, with Lamb arguably being the best wide receiver from this year’s class, even if Philadelphia were to consider the possibility, and potentially have to give up some draft picks in the process, this could be well worth it in the long run.

Long shot or not, here are four reasons to support Philadelphia at least considering the idea of trading up for Lamb when the time comes in April during the draft to put the offense in better shape heading into 2020.
