1. Barkley heating up last few games

There were some critics that didn’t hold back on the Giants last year when they decided to use a first-round pick on Saquon Barkley instead of a potential successor at quarterback to Manning, but no one seems to be questioning the decision anymore.

Right away, Barkley wasted little time making an impact on offense for New York, and would quickly become part of the conversation of being a top running back on the rise.

For the most part, Barkley’s sophomore campaign didn’t exactly go according to plan, but also part of the reason behind the struggles was the Giants as a team dealing with overall issues on offense.

With that being said, fantasy football owners with Barkley on the roster benefitted in a big way from the young running back’s performance over the last two games after seeing him record 422 yards from scrimmage to go along with four trips into the end zone.

For the most part, Philadelphia found a way to keep Barkley in check a few weeks ago during their overtime win over New York, but the circumstances will be much different this time around.

Between the weather conditions expected to be much better on top of Jones being under center, Barkley could be in for another strong performance when facing the Eagles, and make winning the NFC East a little more complicated for Philadelphia.
