Philadelphia Eagles 2020 schedule: Top 5 opponents outside NFC East
By Dan Parzych
Here’s a look ahead at the toughest opponents for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020 outside of the NFC East.
With the regular season officially in the books, the Philadelphia Eagles now know their opponents for the 2020 season, and while the NFC East champions are always going to be in for a challenge when it comes to their rivals, outside of the division will be just as tough.
As great as it is to finish on top of the division for the second time in three seasons, this also means the Eagles will face tougher opponents in 2020, although Doug Pederson‘s squad should be embracing the challenge.
Like most teams, Philadelphia will have plenty of adjustments to make once their offseason gets underway to put them in the best position to repeat as division champions in 2020, whether it involves moving on from certain players or bringing new prospects on board.
Either way, if the previous three seasons are any indication of what to expect, there’s every reason to believe the Eagles will be one of the top contenders from the NFC once again in 2020, even if their schedule looks brutal on paper.
It may sound ridiculous to look too far ahead over what 2020 could have in store since next September is still pretty far away, but also it’s difficult to hold back some of the excitement for Philadelphia now that their list of opponents are official.
So to provide fans a better idea of what the schedule looks like outside of the NFC East for the Eagles, here are the five toughest opponents for 2020 that could give Philadelphia the most trouble.
