Are you as impatient about this Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks game as everybody else? Here are ten facts to tide you over.

Shortly after the Philadelphia Eagles were assured of an NFC East title, Doug Pederson made his way around the locker room and congratulated his team on a job well done. To their credit, they were already focused on the NFC Wild Card Game.

They didn’t know who their opponent was at the time. Some of them didn’t know the result of the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys game, but at that point, the latter didn’t make any difference to anyone.

An Eagles win meant Dallas’ victory had no bearing on the postseason.

We’ve since learned that it will be the Seattle Seahawks visiting the ‘Birds’ on Sunday in a rematch of a game that took place earlier in the season. This one obviously has much bigger ramifications. Every game is ‘do or die’ now. A win means the Eagles advance. A loss means the season is over.
