9. Philly’s got the hot hand.

As you all know, the most important stat in football regardless of what level we’re discussing is wins and losses. Here’s something that you shouldn’t have to look up if you’re an Eagles fan. Philly’s gone 4-1 in December including four-straight wins. Seattle’s lost three of their last five contests, and that includes two straight losses to close the season.

Philly’s hot, and they seem to be catching fire at the right time. Can the keep the momentum going in the Wildcard Roud and assure themselves of another playoff game?

10. Carson Wentz has re-written the Eagles record books and has done something no NFL quarterback has ever done.

We’ve gone over the numbers for Carson Wentz time and time again, and it never seems to get old. Let’s do it again. His 4,039 passing yards and 388 completions are both franchise records.

He joined Matt Ryan and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks to throw a touchdown pass in every game and finish with seven or fewer interceptions. He, Ryan, Brady, and Aaron Rodgers are the only signal-callers to attempt 600 or more passes and throw seven interceptions or less.

He’s also the only quarterback in the NFL’s 100-year history to throw 20 or more touchdown passes and seven interceptions or less in three straight seasons.

To make long stories short, let’s put it this way. ’11’ is pretty awesome. Does anyone else have any complaints? It’s time to give the guys some credit. He’s everything the Eagles hoped that he would be when they drafted him.
