The coaching staff: (Head coach): Doug Pederson, Assistant Head Coach: Andy Reid, Offensive coordinator: Frank Reich, Defensive coordinator: Sean McDermott, Special teams: Dave Fipp

The assistants: Defensive line: Chris Wilson, Linebackers: Ken Flajole, Defensive backs: Dick Jauron, Safeties:  Tim Hauck, Quarterbacks: John DeFilippo, Running backs: Duce Staley, Tight ends: Justin Peelle, Offensive line: Jeff Stoutland

Many of the names on this list don’t need an explanation, but after years of debate, we should all be at the point where we can agree on the fact that Doug Pederson can coach. If we were talking 2000 to 2009, Andy Reid would be the head coach, but we aren’t. At this point, we were in the portion of Reid’s career where things had gotten out of control.

He’s still one of the greats though, so he gets the nod as the assistant head coach.

There’s been a love-hate relationship with Jim Schwartz for years, but there’s been more hate than love. Sean McDermott got a raw deal in Philly, and he was a Jim Johnson disciple, so we trust him to lead this defense. Frank Reich and Dave Fipp are without question the offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator.

The specialists (4): Kicker: Jake Elliott, Punter: Donnie Jones. Longsnapper: Jon Dorenbos, Special Teams: Chris Maragos

David Akers was at the end of what’s arguably a Hall-of-Fame run in 2010, so Jake Elliott gets the nod based squarely on the fact that he’s fresh on everyone’s mind for connecting on a few of the biggest kicks in franchise history in the short time that he’s been here. He edges out Alex Henery who didn’t seem to miss anything as an Eagles kicker.

Jon Dorenbos edges Rick Lovato as the long snapper. Donnie Jones is your punter. They make the squad along with one of the best special teamers the organization has ever see, safety Chris Maragos.
