Here are four head coaching candidates for the New York Giants the Philadelphia Eagles should fear the most.

The good news for the Philadelphia Eagles after winning the NFC East title for the second time in three years is they appear to be the only team from the division without questions at head coach heading into the 2020 season.

While the Washington Redskins have already hired Ron Rivera, and the the Dallas Cowboys continue to weigh their options with Jason Garrett, the New York Giants happen to be looking at potential candidates for head coach as well.

As bad as it sounds, the Giants had an easy decision on their hands in regards to parting ways with Pat Shurmur after only two seasons since the former head coach somehow found a way to get the team to take a step back in 2019.

Time will tell when it comes to determining who New York ends up hiring as their next head coach heading into the 2020 season, and even though the move won’t directly impact Philadelphia, it could still cause problems within the NFC East for years to come.

Despite the Giants finishing the 2019 season with only five wins, the talent this team has to work with on offense in young players such as Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley shows what kind of bright future this team could have with the right head coach.

In other words, if New York finds a way to strike gold over these next few weeks with a solid enough hire to help the team take a major step in the right direction, this could mean trouble for the Eagles beginning as early as next season.
