Here are five bold predictions as the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks Wild Card matchup draws near.

At this point, all of the predictions don’t matter. Neither does any of the back-and-forths that constantly seems to surround Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. Is he elite? Absolutely? Is he a leader? You better know it! Does any of that matter come Sunday afternoon when Philly hosts the Seattle Seahawks? No, it doesn’t.

Forget the Eagles’ most recent loss to Seattle, the fourth straight loss that they’ve suffered in the series. Forget the injuries. That includes injuries on both sides by the way. Forget Russell Wilson‘s perfect win-loss record over Philly. Forget the 58-yard run by Rashaad Penny. Forget the lifelessness that you saw from the Eagles offense the last time these two teams met.

Forget about what these two teams did or didn’t do down the stretch.

None of that matters now. All that matters is one game. All that matters is a trip to Miami. If Philly’s going to get to South Beach, they have to win three straight games. Two will be road games unless the NFC’s fourth and fifth seed does the unthinkable. Every game now will be of the must-win variety. Everyone knows how Philadelphia responds to pressure. They’ve been playing in must-win games for a month now.

It’s almost game time. Here are five bold predictions.
