There won’t be any trick plays in this one, at least not from Seattle

Sure, not too long ago, you were asked to forget about the regular season, but forget that was said for just one more second. Think about those two touchdowns the Seahawks scored at Lincoln Financial Field if you will.

One came by way of some trickery. The other came thanks to the aforementioned long jaunt by Rashaad Penny. After being burned by the trick play in consecutive weeks, the other coming by way of the New England Patriots, this Eagles defense has been much sharper.

Everyone needs only play assignment football and to do their job, and any damage that the Seahawks do on offense will have to be done using execution by Russell Wilson and company. There won’t be any trick plays in this one except, of course, any of them come from Philadelphia.

As a matter of fact, that’s what we’re expecting. This time, the Eagles make the magic happen. This time the Eagles catch the Seahawks napping. Might we see a pass by Greg Ward?
